Now that you’ve got your Titans and relics, you need to get them stronger and more effective and you do that by upgrading them (levelling them up). If you spend time upgrading lots of your R1 and R2 items, you may find that when you get to a certain level, they simply are no longer powerful enough to be competitive, this is the reason you should only upgrade as few of the more common items as possible to get you going, then focus on the R3 and R4 stuff as soon as you get them. But when you max out that R4 titan (level 60), the R1 Titan will be squashed like an insect, probably by troops before the R4 Titan even makes a move. Now, the LEVEL of the Titans and relics is what really determines how strong or effective they are as it relates directly to: (1) how much damage they deal, (2) how much health they have, (3) how much boosting (attack, production, abilities, resistances, etc) they do and (4) how many of their abilities have been unlocked.įor example, an R4 Titan at level 1 might have many great abilities potentially, but at that level only 1 of those skills is unlocked, also they can only carry 1 relic into battles and they have very low health and do little damage compared with a very common R1 Titan that’s maxed out at level 30. Higher rarity also means more abilities/skills to unlock as you upgrade them. Titans and relics have their maximum upgradable levels set at an increasing ceiling so the more rare they are, the higher you can upgrade them. If everyone can get them easily, what would be the point? The more rare, the more awesome they are, and the less chance you’ll have of receiving them in normal play, and R4 Titans can only be obtained from the different Altars in the Temple as well as by participating in events. You’ll notice that Titans and relics have a stars system associated with them, that’s because they come in different levels of rarity starting with the most common being 1-star (R1) to the rarest being 4-star (R4) and 5-star (R5). You receive titans and relics as rewards when you do battle in the various parts of the game, including the Campaigns, the Adventures, the Titan Monuments, the Titan Arenas, other players as well as Events. There’s a relic to tweak almost every attribute of the game. Production relics can be equipped to your buildings to boost them in some way as well.
Combat relics are equipped to your Titans before going into battle and will either boost the attributes of your Titans and troops or give them something new (attacking, defensive, summon more troops, etc).
